721 Prologue Text [Muzz's Poem]When you’ve got a disability, people want to help,
Or at least, they say they want to help,
And that’s only if it’s physical.
Otherwise it’s your fault,
Or your parent’s fault...
And you deserve no sympathy.
There’s nothing like being told the things inside your head aren’t a big deal.
Nothing like being told you’re making up lies,
Nothing like being expelled from school after having your head bashed against the wall,
Because you’re the ‘cause of the problems’,
And the teachers just want you out.
And there’s only one thing,
One thing that matches the horrible jealousy,
Of watching your own sister as she gets help,
Because her problems are physical,
And that thing,
Is the guilt,
That she’s just like you,
That she needs help too,
And that you might blame her,
For when you get pushed aside.
Shoved to the back of the room,
Because she’s fallen,
Hit her head again,
As her muscl
